CEF and CHS Cross Country Team Announce First Annual Last Blast Fun Run
The Camas Educational Foundation and the Camas High School Cross Country Team are collaborating on a joint fundraiser to benefit both organizations.
We invite all runners, walkers, and fitness enthusiasts to join us on the scenic and rolling route along the Heritage Trail and the Lacamas Shores neighborhood beginning and ending at Camas Meadows Golf Course.
There will be a "tot walk" for adult-accompanied children under 5 along the beautiful Camas Meadows 9th hole, an untimed 6.65 mile run/walk, and a (two-loop) half marathon.
Join us after the event to view our sponsor's displays, enjoy food provided by Camas Meadows, and listen to live music.
Date: Saturday, Sept. 4
Location: Camas Meadows Golf Course
Cost: $25/person (includes t-shirt) pre-registered & $35 for walk in's; children under 5 free
Times: 7:45 - Check in
8:00 - Tot walk (1/2 mile around the 9th hole) - FREE!
8:45 - 6.5 mile run/walk
9:15 - Half marathon
Misc:
- Children under 5 are free.
- All participants must sign a waiver
- Water/aid stations will be located on the course
- Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult
- Child care available at no charge
- Baby runners OK
